This Privacy Policy explains how Dabl Club(“Dabl,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit dablclub.com, subscribe to our newsletter, register for an event, or otherwise interact with us. We collect as little as we need to run the community, and we never sell your personal information.

Information you give us

• Newsletter — your email address (and name, if provided) when you subscribe. Handled by our email provider, beehiiv.
• Event registration — details you submit when you RSVP to an event, such as name, email, and any survey answers (e.g. role, organization, city). Handled by our events provider, Luma.
• Contact — anything you send us by email, Telegram, or a form.

Information collected automatically

• Usage & device data — standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages viewed, timestamps) generated when you load the site, used for security and to understand aggregate traffic.
• Embeds — pages that embed third-party content (YouTube videos, X/Twitter posts, Luma calendars, Google Maps) cause your browser to contact those services, which may set their own cookies. See Subprocessors.

How we use information

• To send the newsletter and event updates you asked for.
• To organize events and communicate with registrants.
• To operate, secure, and improve the site.
• To produce aggregate, de-identified community statistics (for example, the audience profile on our Members page). Aggregate figures never identify an individual.
• To respond to your messages and comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run Dabl Club (our “subprocessors”), and only as needed to provide the service — see the full list at Subprocessors. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies

The site itself uses minimal cookies. Embedded third-party content may set cookies controlled by those providers; you can block cookies in your browser settings, though some embeds may not work as a result.

Data retention

We keep newsletter and event data for as long as you remain subscribed or the event record is relevant, and then delete or anonymize it. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.

Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of marketing. Email collin@dabl.cluband we’ll honor valid requests. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time.

International transfers

Our providers are primarily based in the United States, so your information may be processed there. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Children

Dabl Club is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Effective” date above.
