Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of dablclub.com, the Dabl Club newsletter, and Dabl Club events (together, the “Services”). By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.

The Services

Dabl Club is a community for builders. The site publishes information about our events, learning resources, open-source projects, rankings, and community, and lets you subscribe to our newsletter and register for events. Much of what we link to (repos, videos, registration, benchmarks) is hosted by third parties.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law or infringe others’ rights while using the Services;
• disrupt, scrape abusively, overload, or attempt to breach the site or its providers;
• misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or harass other community members;
• use the Services to send spam or malware.

Events

Event registration and ticketing are handled through Luma and any co-host’s terms also apply. Events may be photographed or recorded. We may update, reschedule, or cancel an event, and we may decline or revoke entry to keep events safe and welcoming. Please behave respectfully toward other attendees, hosts, and venues.

Intellectual property

The Dabl Club name, logo, and site content are ours or our licensors’ and are protected by law. Third-party marks, projects, and resources belong to their respective owners. You may share and link to our content with attribution; you may not imply endorsement or misrepresent it.

Third-party links & content

The Services link to and embed third-party sites and content that we don’t control and aren’t responsible for. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is”without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information (including rankings, project data, and community statistics) is complete or accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dabl Club and its organizers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

Changes

We may update these Terms; the “Effective” date above shows the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
